Austin J. Eighan is a third-year law student at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. While attending law school, Austin has served as a lead articles editor on the Executive Board of the UIC Law Review as well as the president of the International Business and Trade Law Society while maintaining a Dean’s Scholarship. Austin also excelled in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, earning international recognition for his oral advocacy.

Austin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in German and Political Science from Saint John’s University/College of Saint Benedict with honors. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, Austin served as an International Parliamentary Scholar in the German Bundestag, supporting members of parliament on domestic and international trade matters.

Prior to law school, Austin worked at an international third-party logistics provider. He was responsible for managing client relationships and the import and export of goods via all modes of transportation. While in this role, Austin also became certified as a Licensed Customs Broker.
